I think you can imagine my thoughts about Windows after a life spent on Amiga, Macintosh, Linux and so on...
What else can I say?
Apart from the Microsoft destructive marketing which I don't want to comment here, what about Windows itself?

I saw Windows 3.11 when I was a little child, in a travel agency, and I liked playing with the mouse. :-)
In 1995 I liked the small eye candies and the other small things like these that Windows 95 had to offer.
When I first bought my pc, back in the first days of October 2001, it came with Windows 98 pre-installed, after a year I've installed Windows XP Pro...
So???
It's great!!! Games work well, the system is more stable, it's almost a decent OS... ;-D
But? but you know...
The feel of "I want to explore and to create something", the "hack feeling", well, it has a different home, I understand it is the Microsoft filosophy, making a system for the mass, but that feeling, that particular feeling... it's elsewhere, and I can't do without it.
