Un viaggio in Marocco, l'arrivo in nave al porto di Tangeri e l'inaspettata festa vissuta per caso dal nostro viaggiatore.
La Festa del Sacrificio  (Aid al-Adha) è la solennità più importante del calendario islamico: è una celebrazione talmente importante che è anche soprannominata Aid al-Kabir (festa grande). E' la festa la quale commemora il miracolo che Allah compì sostituendo il figlio di Abramo con un montone durante il sacrificio. Molto sentita e celebrata nelle famiglie, specie negli strati più modesti della popolazione che risparmiano per mesi in previsione dell'acquisto dell'animale da
sacrificare.
Nella città marocchina di Tangeri la festa del sacrificio, si festeggia in modo particolare: la mattina della vigilia, solitamente gli uomini e i bambini, si mettono per strade con grossi bidoni dove ardono la legna per cucinare le zampe e la testa del montone; queste parti meno pregiate verranno usate per condire il cous cous durante il pranzo del giorno dopo.
In questo documentario si narra per immagini questo avvenimento caratteristico della città di confine Marocchina; inoltre,si nota la differenza tra la vita cittadina di questa nazione e quella dei suoi villaggi di periferia.

A trip to Morocco, the arrival by ship to the port of Tangier and the unexpected feast lived by chance by our traveller.
The Feast Sacrifice (Aid al-Adha) is the most important solemnity of the Islamic calendar: it is a so important celebration that it is also nicknamed Aid -Al-Kabir, The Great Feast. Eid al-Adha  commemorates Ibrahim's  (Abraham) willingness to obey God by sacrificing his son.
According to the Koran, Ibrahim was about to sacrifice his son when a voice from heaven stopped him and allowed him to sacrifice a ram instead.
The feast re-enacts Ibrahim's obedience by sacrificing a ram. The family eats about a third of the meal and donates the rest to the poor. Eid- Ul- Adha is observed above all by lower class families, that begin to save money months before the feast, in order to buy the ram for the sacrifice.
In the Moroccan city of Tangier the Feast of Sacrifice is celebrated in a particular way: on the eve morning men and children usually stay in the street with some tanks where they burn wood.  With the embers they cook the head and legs of the ram; these parts of less value are
used to cook cous cous for the lunch of the day after.  .
In this documentary it is narrated by images this characteristic event of the Moroccan border city; furtermore, is shown the difference between the city life of this nation and that of its villages.

The legend of Faust in the small mind of a dwarf that would also like to sell his soul to the devil; the heart commands, it appears and it disappears, it flashes.
Fausto, the scurvy dwarf, mocks the spectator, sends intermittence messages to confuse. Its science wants to arrive over and soon will grant its wish.

La tigre di carta è un foglio di giornale, è una foto di Mao che brucia. Il potere è dietro l'angolo e il fuoco è la salvezza: nel fuoco la speranza di un mondo nuovo da ri-bruciare.

The paper tiger is a sheet of newspaper, it is a photo of Mao that burns. Power is behind the angle and the fire it is the salvation: in the fire the hope of a new world to be ri-burnt.
