DECOMPOSING SERENITY "rectify the anal bombshell" 
Aussie grind/noise scene is unbelievable great; after WARSORE and VISCERA, now from the victoria 
state arrives DECOMPOSING SERENITY, an extremely sick and repulsive one man band. This tape, 
which has been also reprinted on 7" format through Gulli recs, contains 15 tunes of insane and brutal 
grind/noise. The drum machine beats are faster than you could image, vocals are putrid and guitar sound 
is more stinky than your grandma asshole. Each track has a sample about serial killer and shit like that; 
the funniest, in my opinion, is the one that talks about a homosexual serial killer masked of a clown who 
entertaining children in a hospital. SPICE GIRLS have already check it out, so what are you waiting for?

IRONIA  "promo 96/97" ironia rec.s 
IRONIA is another follower of the goregrind stock. Titles such as "I want more victims", "the traumatic 
influenza of the hemophiliac fuck monster" explain a lot about what this band is doing. They have 
reminiscences of GUT for the songwriting and CUM and SLOUGH for the sound, even if they have a 
more raw sound for the presence of a human drummer. It's a very sick band with an incredible low and 
rotted vocals style, the only things that leave me a little disappointed are two: the too poor guitar sound 
and the fact that this tape contains only 4 brief songs. Anyway, this is recommended to all the goregrind 
freaks. (RS)

MIDGET FETISH  
"promo tape #1 97" 
I have no words, I have received another promo from australia and it's another masterpiece. However, 
MIDGET FETISH can't be associated to the other aussie grind bands, it sounds very original. M.F. creates 
its own style mixing grind, HC, powerviolence, metal and some arabian rock riffs a la Pulp Fiction 
soundtrack. Plus, I'm totally shocked by the crazy high screamed vocal that does few and brief appearance 
on some tracks, it seems a sample of a sheep bleating. The tape's pearl is the absurd version of the 
METALLICA hit "seek and destroy". Nothing more to say, I use some words from the outro (a bolivian 
radio metal show), check out this "muchachos super brutales"!! (RS)

Guys, keep three eyes open to IRONIA Recs, Jordi is releasing cool tapes such as this one, an EP cassette 
which contains 7 tracks from the spanish ruling sickos H. I haven't yet checked "grume" out, but this 
tape's sound is really better than the "emetic cult" one, is more sick in every point of view. Musically H. 
hasn't had big changes, only a little added of HC parts. One tracks, which actually I don't remember its 
title, is totally based on the first "hammer smashed face" riff; I don't know if it a joke or a tribute, I just 
know that it's a really cool track! Tape is totally pro-done with a great sick cover. Order it now!! (RS)

First demo from USA of this issue. But, to be truly, it doesn't have the classic american sound, it's more 
into the actual swedish scene. Well, I've never been into this genre, but N.R. sounds quite interesting, 
mixing with an unquestionable cleaverness death/trash with melodic and classic metal parts. Production is 
perfect, good and potent the sound and all the instruments level of recording are well balanced. Soon it 
will be released their first full-lenght, in the meantime this tape could be a sample if you are interested.

And now, for the ripping DEATH off series, we have AURA HATE. Sorry guyz, but you have done a 
mistake. Of course you are five good musicians and recording is quite good, but you can't clone DEATH 
so expliciting, at least try to put something of yours into the songs. Plus, I've always hated Chuck and 
friends, so how could I appreciate your work? (RS)

MACHETAZO "realmente disfruto comiendo cadaveres" 
Excellent, these spanish sickos have shredded my guts!! This is a full-lenght on cassette which features 55 
tracks of gore mayhem, with a total professional production. You will never be annoyed during the 
listening 'coz songs are really different, influences go from the brutal gore grind a la MORTICIAN to the 
noisecore in the vein of FINAL EXIT, from japanese HC riffs style to strange noise experimentation 
which remind me John Zorn's NAKED CITY; all dressed with waves of blood. Sound quality is good, 
great J-card with tons of zombie...what else could I say? Don't miss it!! (RS)

Fourth tape released by these japanese grind/HC freaks. In my opinion, to be a rehearsal recording, sound 
quality is more than acceptable; maybe the real problem is that 4 tracks for 10 minutes only can't satisfied 
the listeners daily needs of grind, it's something like break off a BRUTAL TRUTH gig after they have 
played three songs!! Anyway, the four songs contained are an exceptional proof of what C.G. plays, 
raging mincecore with a very very noisy and raw sound and inhuman screams of hate as vocals. Plus C.G. 
doesn't try to sound like many other japanese bands, they mantain a certain personality and their own 
sound.  Japan scene teems of grind/HC bands, but few are great as CARCASS GRINDER. (RS)

VISCERA "adv. tracks" 
Six tracks that are featured into their split EP with czech grinders PURULENT SPERMCANAL, which is 
already out through MERCILESS CORE Recs. Well...from the "finger your ring" really raw sound all is 
totally improved, here they sound more sick and perverse old school goregrind a la IMPETIGO, I think 
this is a more correct representation of what VISCERA is doing. So, if the filthiest recording I've ever 
checked out let me regard VISCERA a grind/noise/HC act, I'll forget the words noise/HC but my opinion 
still remains the same: "cool shit for demented ears"!!  Write immediately to Jayde to know the available

SLOUGH "dead bitch" 
Quite old release, but soon it will be reprinted onto CD format through EXTREME SCENE Recs so I 
decided to review it. Here you will find six SLOUGH tracks in its classic style, goregrind with a little 
death metal touch in the guitars. If you are interested about serial killer stories and the most unimaginable 
perversions SLOUGH is definitely your band, they also did a tribute to Jeffrey Dahmer some years ago. 
Registration is OK, artwork is cool and sick, the only thing I don't appreciate is their serious sexist and 
racist attitude. (RS)

Here I have other filthy stuff of this japanese noisers to review. First two track are CRIPPLE BASTARDS 
covers which are gonna be released on a tribute LP to my country mates, both excellent. After that there's 
an uncountable amount of tracks taken from three different live sessions in the classic F.E. style: chaotic 
noisecore a la A.C. with some rock blues funny parts. I've found fantastic their version of "pretty woman", 
I love it! Love or hate'em, there's no middle course!! (RS)

"10 songs demo#1 '96"  harshit 
Side-project of some guys from GORE BEYOND NECROPSY, quite interesting. It remember me the 
filthy and simple grind/crust/HC of the first WARSORE's demo, but with a most sick and raw sound and 
style. The 10 songs contained are short and very intense, unfortunately this tape is really brief, I'm not 
sure if it's 10 minutes long. Vocals and sound have some G.B.N.'s reminiscences, but this tape is nothing 
if compared with the new G.B.N. stuff.   Nothing of special but surely suitable for a crushing grind party!

This band plays melodic trash metal, and it leaves me totally indifferent and more than annoyed. (RS)

QUILL "advance tracks" 
QUILL fucking rules, I love this band!! Here are contained 48 songs which will be released on some 
compilation CDs and various split 7". Q. plays a very raw and filthy grindish HC, songs are well varied, 
quite short and never sound repetitive. They have two different vocals style, the main one is the classic 
screaming grind/HC style, plus there's a cleaned one which sounds very cool. They go from chaotic and 
fast grind attacks to good mid-paced HC parts with cleaned vocals that remind me 7 SECONDS. Each 
item they release is a must, buy them all!! I received this promo from Ryohei of FINAL EXIT who did 
drums for QUILL, but now he quit this band, so no address, sorry!! (RS) 
 
ABYSMAL GRIEF   "funereal" 
A painful keyboard intro let me foresee the worse, but my immagination has betrayed me for one more 
time 'coz this demo is worst than what I imaged, it simply sucks. It's the classic boring doom metal mixed 
with mid-paced black metal parts which is so appreciated here in italy. To my hears it sounds pathetic and 
is a sofference for me listen to it. I suggest it only to the masochist. (RS)

MORGUE "act of the macabre" 
Promo tape from this french band which will put it out soon through the infamous polish label 
IMMORTAL Recs. France rarely showed me good band, and now is finally arrived the exception!! 
Here we have 4 bulldozing long and well-done tracks of brutal death/grind which impressed me a lot for 
the unstoppable drumming and the high level of sickness expressed by the music. If you are into band like 
LIVIDITY, KRABATHOR and old school brutal death/grind in general MORGUE will satisfy your thirst 
for blood. 
I just suggest to change the vocals style 'coz it sound a little monotonous and boring. (RS)
