Script name: dna3p
[To ensure compatibility with all operating systems, script names should have a maximum of 8 characters, and should end in P if paused, U if unpaused. It is also a good idea to have a number before the p/u to indicate the version of the script. Examples: dna1u, dna2u, dna3p.] |

Script release dates (year/month/day) and revision history:
DNA1U 95/11. Slower version DNA2U 96/03/07. Expanded and paused version DNA3P 96/03/03. DNA3P revised 96/04/12. One cytosine in the 19-base-pair segment in this crystal was rotated 180 degrees from the normal position. (If anybody knows why, please let me know.) Naturally, this is the one I picked originally to show hydrogen bonding! A GC pair at a different position is enlarged in this revision so that the hydrogen bonding is normal. Also, the dATP was inadvertantly shown as ATP (ribose instead of deoxyribose); this is now fixed (thanks to Jose Miguel Fernandez Fernandez). Revised 96/08/04 to enable operation with RasMac. Previously, comments following script commands confused RasMac, preventing script operation. Enclosing the script filename in quotes (see file dna3.top for examples) fixed this problem. Also, new files 00SPTDOC.HTM and 0SPTSPEC.HTM were first included on this date. |
