This "tempo transposer" is very useful for owners of "old" samplers which don't have the time-stretch function. Plus, on Akai sampler, you can only apply a whole percentage (i.e 98% but not 98,65% ) which is not very precise. This calculators is very precise !! This one is the opposite of the first calculator. It gives the relation between transposition and bpm. Usefull when you have, let's say, a 90 bpm drum loop on your keyboard C3, and you want to know the bpm of this same loop played on a D3 ( + 2 semitones ). You can enter negatives and decimals values of semitones. I.e : 2.36 or -4.52 ( decimal values are hundredth of semitones ). Use the point to enter decimal values ( semitones or bpm ). Another time-stretch classical, but this time for transposing a loop. When you pitch-shift a loop of, let's say, 2 semitones you raise it's bpm ( decrease it's length and play faster) proportionnaly.
