soldi!
++++ IL PREZZO CONCRETO DELLA COMUNICAZIONE LIBERA
Dobbiamo ripeterlo per forza: i servizi di Autistici/Inventati (caselle di
posta, mailing list, siti web, blog e molto altro ancora) non sono affatto
gratuiti – oltre all’impegno personale per la manutenzione dei server e
del sito, che ci tiene occupati (su base assolutamente volontaria) a livello
quotidiano, ogni mese dobbiamo sostenere, per la banda e per molte altre cose,
una spesa che si aggira intorno agli 800 euro, per un totale di 10mila euro
circa all’anno (per qualche dettaglio in piu’, aprite
http://www.autistici.org/it/who/costs.html ).
Per un po’ di tempo siamo riusciti a farci bastare quel poco che avevamo, e
da quasi due anni non lanciamo una vera campagna di sottoscrizione, ma a questo
punto la situazione comincia a farsi critica e, come vi stiamo annunciando da un
po’ di tempo, dobbiamo cominciare a stupirvi con effetti speciali per
chiedervi di sostenerci e di garantire la sopravvivenza di tutti i servizi che
forniamo.
Per dirla in modo semplice: senza il vostro contributo, Autistici/Inventati non
potra’ esistere a lungo.

Per questo chiediamo a tutti voi, che usate, godete e soffrite su
Autistici.org/Inventati.org, di sostenerci e di sostenervi contribuendo
economicamente come potete.

Inoltre, a dicembre cominceremo a distribuire merchandising vario (magliette,
manifesti ecc.), che potrete acquistare per finanziare il progetto: appena
troveremo un sistema di distribuzione adeguato vi faremo sapere come ordinare i
vostri gadget preferiti.
++ KAOS TOUR
Proveremo a compensare questa venale richiesta di soldi offrendovi i nostri
corpi: stiamo infatti organizzando il Kaos Tour 2006–2007, una serie di
incontri in cui potrete venire a vederci, a toccarci e a scoprire come siamo
fatti (ad alcuni di noi piacciono anche le noccioline o il cioccolato, ma i
piu’ preferiscono la ganja); ma soprattutto potrete ascoltare dal vivo i
dettagli del piano R*, bestemmiarci contro i problemi che avete, chiedere
delucidazioni su tutti i vostri dubbi, nonche’ appropriarvi del nostro
magnifico merchandising, colpirci in faccia con delle torte, o partecipare a
delle esilaranti sfide a pinocchiettoschiacciapiede.
Oltre che a farci uscire dal guscio autistico e per scambiare idee con il mondo,
quest’occasione servira’, naturalmente, anche a raccogliere fondi.
Una prima tappa della nostra tournee si terra’ a Bologna, al Laboratorio
occupato Crash!, sabato 2 dicembre per l’evento Info Free Flow, e presto vi
comunicheremo tutte le date del tour. Nel frattempo, per scoprire qualcosa sui

FUNDRAISING CAMPAIGN

Soon after our latest newsletter (the one about http://noblogs.org e
http://link.autistici.org), here we are again for something really fundamental:
money!
++++ THE REAL PRICE OF FREE COMMUNICATION
We really have to repeat it: Autistici/Inventati’s services (mailboxes,
lists, hosting, blogs and much more) are not free as in beer – besides our
personal efforts for maintaining our servers and website, which engage us on a
voluntary and daily basis, our monthly expenses for connection and many other
things averages 800 euros every month, totalling about 10,000 euros a year (for
further details, go to: http://www.autistici.org/it/who/costs.html ).
For a while, we managed to go on with the little funds we had, and for nearly
two years we haven’t launched any fundraising campaigns; but now our
situation is getting critical, and as we have been announcing for a while now,
we must start making wonders for getting you to support us, thus granting the
survival of all services we provide.
More simply: without your contribution, Autistici/Inventati will not live long.

That’s why we ask all of you, who use, have fun and suffer on
Autistici.org/Inventati.org, to support us and yourselves by contributing as you
can.

Besides, in December we’ll start distributing our merchandise (T-shirts,
posters, etc.) for you to buy it and fund our project: as soon as we identify an
adequate distribution system, we’ll let you know how to order your favourite
gadgets.
++ KAOS TOUR
We’ll try offsetting this mercenary money request by offering you our
bodies: we are organizing the 2006–2007 Kaos Tour edition: a series of
meetings where you can see us, touch us and find out what we look like (some of
us do like peanuts or chocolate, even if most of us prefer ganja); what’s
important, though, is that you’ll be able to listen a live detailing of the
R* plan, to curse against us about the problems you’re experiencing, to ask
for explanations about all your doubts, to get your hands on our wonderful
merchandise, to throw cakes at us and so on.
Apart from getting us out of our autistic nutshells to exchange our minds with
the outer world, these events will of course help us raising funds.
A first date in our tour will take place in Bologna, at the Laboratorio occupato
Crash!, on Saturday 2nd December during the Info Free Flow, and we’ll soon
inform you about our further program. Meanwhile, if you want to know something
