PGP KeyServer HowTo
A keyserver is a service that makes available PGP/GPG keys to who need them to encrypt email messages.
PGP/GPG works with a key-pair public/private. The secret key has to be kept hidden (better on a usb-pen or an encrypted partitio), while the public key has to be available to all users that want to write us an encrypted message.
The goal of keyservers is to collect public keys and make them available to who request them.
Most of PGP and GPG graphical interfaces allow to choose what keyserver use by default to upload/retrieve keys. If you want to use our keyserver you have to specify as address: keyserver.paranoici.org
A web interface is available here:
http://keyserver.paranoici.org:11371
This keyserver send keys that receive to other public keyservers on the net, but don't accept keys from other keyservers, so it's not intended as a complete replacement of other keyservers.
